Greetings, from a backstage room in San Juan Capistrano, California, USA.
My family used to go on vacation here every October growing up, I feel a sense of innocence walking around this town, a feeling I can’t find many other places.
I’ve always loved touring in the Fall, it’s one of my favorite times of year, it’s got this weird sensation of adolescence before old man winter arrives and kills the youthfulness of the year.
I too feel this weird sensation of adolescence. Aged, from what seems like the longest year of my life, youthful from what seems like somewhat of a rebirth. It’s been refreshing getting to tour with new people, there’s a new energy in the van, a new dynamic, I think we all needed that.
The shows have been progressively getting better and better, it really felt like we clicked at our last show in San Francisco. I’m crossing my fingers that it’ll carry on for the rest of the tour.
We’ve been talking about new music lately, the product isn’t there yet, but the ideas are.
A new direction.
“Us.”
Au revoir, Earthlings.
